Terri Schiavo case echoes in Bihar
Indias largest selling gossip newspaper Times of India reports that Terri Schaivo case has made care takers of a woman in Bihar approach the courts with a mercy killing pettition. Irresponsible journalism. What politicians want everywhere is uninformed voters. Terri was in Persistent Vegetative State, this woman Kanchan Devi is in coma. Terri's brain had shrunk to size of an orange and best neuro surgeons concurred that she had crossed the point of no return. Nobody know what is the state of poor Kanchan. Given the social oppression of woman in India and that too in a relatively backward state of Bihar as such woman does not have voice, and now a national newspaper reports irresponsibly.

After thought
Yes India needs mercy killing law. Not for citizens but for the brain dead bureucrats who ruin public institutions by being in persistent vegetative state. Remove those feeding tubes off Indian bureucracy now!!!
